Of an intensely brilliant ruby red colour, it expresses a bouquet of raspberries and black cherry; the taste is full-bodied and long-lasting, with an aftertaste of red fruits.

|Soil aspect:||Vineyard arranged in a â€œgirapoggioâ€ fashion, in a East-West direction; the soil is made up by a sedimentary complex of loam and sandstone of Eocene origin.|
|Vineyard age and growing system:||The vineyard is about 20 year old, the farming system is the horizontal spurred cordon.|
|Wine making:||After crushing and de-stemming, the mashed grapes are conveyed into a stainless steel tank and left to ferment for two weeks with the aid of selected yeasts at a temperature of about 26Â°C, with regular remontage operations. Afterwards half of the wine ages in barriques and the other half in stainless steel tanks for 12 months, during which the malolactic fermentation and periodical stirring operations take place. Later on the wine is filtered and bottled, and three months later it is introduced onto the market.|
